Position	Senior Environmental Officer
Location	Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification	Bachelor’s degree in related field (post graduate degree preferable)
Experience	5+ environmental management experience. Experience in resources or construction projects preferred.
Requirements	Understanding of environmental management software. Attention to detail.
Responsibilities	Implementation of Barrick’s Sustainability Policy and associated procedures and standards.  Assist in the development and implementation of the site Environmental Management System, including development of Management Plans and procedures. Deliver induction and awareness training programs for employees, contractors and consultants to ensure that all workforce are properly briefed on environmental requirements. Collate, assess and input data into the site environmental monitoring tools and software and undertake analysis and reporting. Manage or facilitate environmental specialist studies as required  Environmental monitoring, data collection and management.  Ensure compliance with the Project’s Environmental and Social Management System and all applicable national and local legislation including reporting requirements. Support the Community Relations team with environmental-related engagement with project stakeholders. Assist with the preparation of budgets, internal and external reporting, Power Point presentations, minutes and participation in various strategies and meetings
