Primary Purpose

Able to operate a shift unassisted and have the ability to rebuild equipment. A Water Operator Lvl B possesses a Water Operator license and 1 - 2 endorsements. Endorsements required for Millsboro include Distribution, Disinfection, Chemical Feed and Filtration. Will have 1 - 3 years of acceptable operating experience. Operates mostly under supervision. $5,000 Sign on Bonus - 2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm/ weekends a must

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operation of the water treatment system.
2. Assists with compliance documentation and recordkeeping.
3. Maintenance of water equipment and wells.
4. Adheres to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.
5. Performs process control lab work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Water Operator license with 1 – 2 endorsements.
• 1 – 3 years of acceptable operating experience.
• DE: Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours of approved training within that timeframe.
• NC: Recertify annually with completion of 6 hours of commission-approved continuing education.
