Department	Supply Chain - Procurement
Position	Strategic Procurement Lead
Location	Quetta
Qualification	Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or relevant certification preferred).
Experience	Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on vendor development and management.
Requirements	Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and strategic sourcing. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and procurement trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective vendor and stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems). Experience in the mining or construction industry will be an advantage. Commitment to ethical procurement practices and adherence to compliance standards.
Responsibilities	Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, ensuring they meet organizational standards and compliance requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve favorable terms and conditions. Monitor supplier performance, addressing any discrepancies or issues to maintain high-quality standards. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, alternative suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Implement vendor management frameworks, including regular audits, performance reviews, and feedback sessions. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines. Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Support sustainability initiatives by sourcing environmentally friendly and ethical materials.
