We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring and dedicated teacher with drive and ambition to join the well-established English team at the start of the summer term 2025. The department prides itself on being dynamic, supportive and willing to go the extra-mile for our students.
You will teach across the age and ability range (Key Stages 3 and 4), collaboratively planning and facilitating engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students. The position would suit an experienced candidate or an early careers teacher. Knowledge of AQA English Language and Literature is desirable.
Holbrook Academy is a popular secondary school to the south of Ipswich, easily accessible from the A12 and A14. We pride ourselves on our positive and supportive ethos and our passion is to ensure that ‘everybody can be somebody’. The school was judged ‘Good’ across all aspects by Ofsted following a monitoring inspection in June 2024.
