Senior Trainer – Light Duty Vehicles – FS (Fixed Term Contract)
Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit a highly committed employee for the position of Senior Trainer – Light Duty Vehicles – FS (Fixed Term Contract) to join the Project Department. We are in search of an individual who can champion Barrick`s DNA by:

Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for reaching and assessing driving skills, communicating rules and regulations, and helping drivers develop good habits and safe driving techniques.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver training programs to light vehicle operators, including theory and practical sessions
- Assessing the abilities of individual drivers, leading classroom and on-the-road training sessions, observing driving practices and offering feedback, and ensuring adherence to all relevant safety policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and review of training programs for light vehicle operators.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of trainees to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, including training certificates, attendance records, and evaluation results.
- Ensure that all training activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
- Ensure that all training equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Advanced Technical Trade Qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience of light duty vehicles on various types including 4x4s
- Accredited TEVETA Trainer & Assessor
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
- Knowledge of the Driving regulations
- Work flexibly and make decisions quickly
