Plan the launch activities schedule for the factory.                                                    
 

Responsibilities

• Factory-level coordinator for all actions (tasks, resources, deadlines, etc.) related to NPI. 
• Coordinates activities in the PPAP, ODT, SOP phases, ensuring the transversal realization of the NPI process throughout the factory (Technical, Quality, Production, Supply). 
• Coordinates positions in the factory with responsibilities in the NPI process. 
• Participates in level 3 and 4 meetings. 
• Prioritizes the production of new products versus series production and escalates when necessary. 
• Prepares daily reports on new products (NPI). 
• Coordinates weekly meetings for NPI. 
• Participates in MPS (NPI and series planning) and Quality meetings. 
• Involved in SIOP meetings, management team meetings, monthly reporting meetings to the division, etc. 
• Coordinates the preparation and presentation of new products in the factory. 
• Ensures an optimal level of processes/resources for NPI. 
• Responsible for internal and external NPI communication. 
• Supervises NPIs regarding production losses, scraps, and issues that arise. 
• Coordinates client visits related to NPI: ODT, PPAP, SOP, series production
• Participates in the selection and hiring processes of personnel. 
• Sets objectives for each member of the department. 
• Maintains updated data in MDA. 
• Approves reports with proposals for rewards, sanctions, or termination of employment contracts. 
• Determines training needs and ensures on-the-job training programs for new employees.
• Sets development plans (technical & behavioural) for subordinates and ensures succession planning. 
• Conducts annual performance evaluations of subordinates based on individual objectives and Garrett behaviours. 
• Monitors the implementation and compliance with internal order rules and occupational safety rules. 
• Organizes department resources according to the organization’s needs, respecting legal rights for paid leave, overtime, unpaid leave, etc. 
• Is responsible for KAIZEN processes at the department level. 
• Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the factory’s performance: constantly identifies opportunities to improve own activities, the department, and the factory (Kaizen ideas in line with the factory’s objectives) and uses coaching techniques. 
• Participates in internal, third-party, corporate, and second-party audits (clients, certification). 
• Conducts gemba walks / 5S audits / SOS audits / LSW audits periodically and identifies non-conformities. 
• Uses the LSW tool in daily activities and reviews its content quarterly. 
• Participates in all meetings where their function is necessary (daily meetings level 1, 2, 3, or 4, as applicable, weekly/monthly meetings, etc.). 
• Participates in quality system and occupational health and safety system analysis meetings. 
• Centralizes monthly data regarding the department’s planning and achievements. 
 

We Need:                                            
                                                    
Good knowledge of assembly/mechanical processing processes in the mechanical industry 
o Knowledge related to quality assurance 
o Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial position 
o Very good knowledge of internal factory processes.                                                  
                                                    

• Solid knowledge of NPI processes 
• Good PC operating skills (MS Office) 
• Good knowledge of English and/or French 
• Knowledge of technical drawing
