Job Summary

If you are looking for an opportunity in DIRECTOR - STRATEGY & REVENUE OPERATIONS, ASIA PACIFIC. Emerson has this exciting role for you! The role is responsible for the development and execution of the Asia Pacific strategies for specific industry segments, sub-segments and applications. Drive commercial excellence and directly manage the Business Development and Business Intelligence teams.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  1. Collaborate with Sales, the  Business Development Team and Global Strategic Business Units to develop and implement growth strategies. 
  2. Analyze market mix through customer segmentation, clusters, customer requirements and purchasing patterns etc.
  3. Implement growth programs and set critical metrics to supervise progress against the organization’s strategic priorities.  Ensure Sales have the required tools to achieve maximum impact from each program. 
  4. Analyze the channel structure by region and segment. Recommend  improvements and lead the implementation.
  5. Evaluate and recommend when to partner and when to develop products to fill identified product gaps. Propose potential acquisition candidates and build relationships when required.
  6. Maintain effective, regular communication with all stakeholders. Identify new product development opportunities and provide business cases to support. 
  7. Leverage SFDC CRM capabilities effectively to provide efficiency improvements, real time critical metric tracking and input to orders forecasting. 
  8. Update market models including  market sizes, growth rates by country and segment, supervise and competitor activities. Identify new potential growth areas.
  9. Collaborate with product marketing  to accurately capture new product requirements for Asia.      Coordinate with marketing communications to align promotional activities for Asia growth programs.
  10. Track performance and provide regular updates and adjust or refine programs as needed.
  11. Collaborate with Solutions Sales and Development teams to identify program opportunities by application, share successes and challenges, and scale productized point SKUs.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  1. Degree or equivalent experience Level Education
  2. Min. 10 years or more of experience in related field. Consistent record of driving strategic initiatives that have achieved significant growth. Knowledge of the industry is a major advantage
  3. English (written and spoken), Mandarin advantageous.

  3. Comfortable working in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
  4. In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as experience managing key customer relationships
  5. Leadership and ability to empower, with proven track record managing change
  6. Business insight
  7. Demonstrates inclusive leadership
  8. Executive level verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  9. Ability to travel 25% to 30% of the time
  10. Proactive with high-energy
