Job Overview:
As a Bloomingdale’s Expert Client Advisor (ECA), you are a senior member of our selling team. Acting as the liaison between Bloomingdale’s and our most elevated luxury brands, you will ensure every client experiences the luxury selling ceremony that will engender customer loyalty. You will establish and cultivate long-term, high-value client relationships, supported by your love of fashion and your product expertise. As a senior member, you will serve as a partner and source of inspiration to other client advisors within your boutique.
What You Will Do:
- Leverage technology available to you through the luxury & Bloomingdale’s brands to capture, analyze and grow client relationships. Act as the point person to answer technical questions and share selling techniques within the boutique.
- Be entrepreneurial by understanding brand and personal goals and taking ownership for business driving strategy and outcomes.
- Demonstrate ability to build authentic relationships with others by actively listening and following through.
- Master store products, services, loyalty programs, and Bloomingdale’s sales systems.
- Use product expertise to share with the team and cascade relevant business information (support morning store huddles, training, etc.)
- Work a flexible retail schedule: day, evening, holidays, and weekends.
Who You Are:
- Preferably have 1-2 years experience in luxury brand sales and/or personal styling.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourceful and eager to start a new venture; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics.
- Fast to adapt as priorities change and are comfortable with technology.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Talk, hear, and use hands to press, handle, and feel, color vision.
- Frequently maintain a stationary position, walk, reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., climb ladders, reach stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment POS, and ability to process register transactions.
