Position Summary
Created 3D models and 2D drawings of turbocharger components and assembly and supported construction for testing and their assemblies and subassemblies by Garrett design standards and ASME. Ensuring fit & function of all components and assemblies.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Roles

• We are designing 3D models and 2D drawings of turbocharger components, assemblies, and subassemblies according to Garrett design standards and ASME.
• Cooperation with cross-functional teams to adapt customer requirements, and lead product plan. 
• Assessment and proving fit and function of overall assemblies or particular features.
• We built design in respect of safety, reliability, manufacturability, assembly processes & cost. Cooperation with cross-function teams on verification of specific requirements from these areas.
• Accountability for design work in quality, delivery & productivity aspects, at the project level.
• Active participation in internal and external design reviews.
• Owner of specific design initiative, responsibility for their local or global deployment and functionality, Examples: specific customer requirements, simulation tools,
• Prepare documentation in clear and technically accurate manner and communicate it to internal and external customers/suppliers.

 

Position Requirements
Education and Qualifications

• University mechanical engineering degree or adequate experience in engineering.

Experience

• Experience in the design of engineering components, both 2D & 3D, dimensioning, geometrical dimensioning & tolerance. Preferably in the automotive industry.

Professional Skills and Knowledge

• Advanced  user of 3D CAD for industrial design (both 3D/2D).
• Knowledge of casting, machining and assembly processes - nice to have.
• Ability to perform Stack-up and built assembly layouts - nice to have.
• Ability to perform basic structural simulation per given templates. - good to have (vule ucit se nove veci a delat neco navic - rozvijet se, customer orientation)
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing, expected level intermediate – B2 (CEFR)
