Translational Neurobiology and Drug Discovery Lab (Dr. Langhans) at Nemours Childrens Hospital seeks a motivated Research Technologist II to conduct research for both internally and externally funded projects of interest to the laboratory. This position will work under the Department of Neurology with direct reporting to Dr. Langhans. An ideal candidate should:

• Perform a range of experiments and data analyses under the direction of Lab Head or Research Associate.
• May require to perform experiments during certain weekends or after hours (depending on the need of experiment).
• Assist with maintenance and operations in the laboratory.
• Maintains both handwritten and computerized records of work performed.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills conductive to working in a team. 
• Handling rodent and their behavioral analyses.
• Experienced in advanced neuroimaging skills
• Genomic data analyses, RNAseq 
• Immunohistochemistry skills
• MRI data analyses

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years significant laboratory experience required
• Bachelor`s degree required; Master`s degree preferred
