In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide leadership and strategic development of the European aftermarket business (parts, installations, service). Define strategy and business plan to aftermarket expansion including investment budget and action plans to deliver the aftermarket expansion goals. 
  • Conduct analysis of current procedures and identify standard methodologies to further bring to bear the growth. Develop and implement best practices to maintain safety, improve quality of service to customers and to achieve market growth. Works closely with regional management to lead change from current practices to new strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities that exist in the market such as refurbishing and upgrades, remote diagnostics, calibration, manufacturing process consultation, applications troubleshooting, etc. Conduct market sizing analysis and financial analysis to quantify growth and profit opportunities
  • Manage the work of the field service teams, support our customers with professional technical solutions in a timely manner. Analyze customer requests to determine proper service to customer, take part in problem solving and root cause analysis exercises as required.
  • Build and further develop a strong and diverse service organization by demonstrating positive and inclusive leadership behavior. Define and implement organizational structure changes that can support operational improvements.
  • Own service performance metrics: improve aftermarket results by supervising and analyzing results; implement changes; identify customer service trends; settle system improvements. Establish and implements short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Develop departmental and capital budgets vital to run the service and support departments. 
  • Ensure all activities are performed safely and accurately according to all relevant legislation, policies, and company guidelines. 
  • Collaborate efficiently with all functions and departments as needed - Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Product Support, Quality etc. 
  • Perform special projects as required.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Technical background - technical expertise to find opportunities and develop strategies for servicing plastics machinery business whose systems are widely applied in the packaging, medical, automotive, and business and consumer electronics markets.
  • Experience in a similar role with leadership/management responsibilities.
  • A pro-active attitude and logical approach to problem solving, even when working under pressure. Effective collaboration and organizational change across functions and countries. 
  • Strong eye for business and demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive strategic business plans for the aftermarket business 
  • Confirmed ability to prioritize and flexibility to change priorities with speed and accuracy.
  • Strong social skills and effective communication. Ability to translate large amounts of technical and statistical information into actionable insights and communicate to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in English (verbal, reading and writing)
