Senior Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager Sales
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and expert Senior Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager to join our team in Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for managing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) customers. Your primary focus will be to retain existing business by addressing potential and existing customer requirements, including quotes, technical support, contracts, and all related issues. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving the company’s bookings and sales while maintaining a high level of customer service as specified in the company’s objectives. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Take ownership of Individual booking /Target in the specified territory and Achieve budgets for given financial year.
- Coordinate potential and existing customer requirements (quotes, technical support, contracts, and related issues).
- Maintain high-level customer service in line with company objectives.
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and new customers` development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer happiness.
- Support Channels/Distributers, MROs, OEMs for incremental growth.
- Drive market engagement and build Funnel around uncovered markets and geographies.
Who You Are: You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You make significant progress and remain calm and composed, even when faced with uncertainty or challenging situations, ensuring consistent progress and customer satisfaction.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Technical Expertise: Technically minded with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of significant work experience.
- Product Knowledge: Experience in selling pneumatics/electrical automation products and field instruments such as pneumatic cylinders, solenoid valves, pneumatic accessories, proximity sensors, pressure regulators, etc.
- Application Knowledge: Knowledge of electro-pneumatic applications.
- Competitive Awareness: Understanding the offerings of competitors.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industries such as factory automation, machine automation, Steel Plants, Thermal Power Plants, Cement, Oil & Gas, Smelters etc.
- Market Insight: Overall market knowledge and familiarity with customers in the region of West Bengal. Odisha, C.G, Jharkhand, Bihar & N.E
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- BE/ B-Tech- Instrumentation/ Mechanical.
- 8 to 10 years working experience in similar field.
