Production Planner
Do you want to work for an inclusive, forward-thinking company? Then we want to hear from you! The Planner will be supporting the Manufacturing Section Manager, handling all aspects of day to day production planning, achieving an efficient production to a high standard.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Coordinating issues, including identifying root cause for failure and receipt of all manufacturing paperwork to the planned schedule to achieve customer RDSL.
- Highlighting any past due customer orders and escalate through the appropriate channels to completion.
- Preparing daily Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reports aligned with weekly/monthly forecasting.
- Action all MRP exception messages including rescheduling, cancellations and quantity amendments.
- Planning capacity against workload, highlighting any issues and reporting daily KPIs against Production Plans including kitting, quality release and witness inspection.
- Coordinating sub-contract operations and free issue material to meet production demands.
- Reviewing the sales order backlog report to coordinate accurate information for the daily weekly production meetings and open order books.
- Monitoring the SAP system, ensuring its kept up to date.
- Providing Customer Services and lead time responses in a timely manner.
- Support in the investigation and close out of NCRs within expected lead time.
- Creating, developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all internal stakeholders.
- Take an active role in Perfect Execution activities as required.

- Product knowledge/experience within a planning role.
- Experience using SAP
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure
- Excellent communication and influencing
- Good commercial awareness
- Engineering background is preferred
