If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Care Homes within Fife? We have several casual cleaner vacancies paying £12.00 per hour to join Care Homes in the following locations:
- Ladywalk Care Home , Anstruther
- Northeden Care Home, Cupar
- Matthew Fyfe Care Home, Dunfermline
- Lindsay House Care Home, Lumphinnans
- Methilhaven Care Home, Methil
Casual staff can be asked to work any day of the week covering for annual leave and absence between the hours of 7:30am and 2:30pm with some flexibility.
Casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked.
You will earn a competitive rate of pay at £12.00 per hour and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

This work is about ensuring residents and staff can live or work in a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

The Person
No Previous experience is required as full training is given.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
