Manager, Culture & Talent Management
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
・ Support the HR Director in planning the annual Organization Review exercise; and ensure
consistency in the process across all Business Units.
・Coordinate with the Business Units to ensure post Organization Review actions are developed and executed according to plan.
・Analyze organizational needs using performance management processes, etc., and as part of efforts to close talent gaps, develop annual training plans, implement Emerson training programs (obtain program provision licenses for implementation), and introduce and operate external training.
・Consider and implement measures to ensure effective recruitment activities in each business unit. For example, produce company promotional videos and develop headhunters.
・To deliver and/or oversee the delivery of learning & development activities across Japan.
・Ensure mandatory development programs are deployed with leverage and consistency.
・Drive greater structure and focus on Individual Development Plans for key employee groups,
inclusive of follow-through.
・Coordinate and plan for employee and manager communication sessions including proposing the agenda, developing the appropriate materials and facilitating the program.
・Operate employee engagement surveys, which are conducted globally every year as a listening program, and handle follow-up activities and compilation.
・Serve as HR business partner for 1-2 business units to enable more realistic activities.

• Experience in leading business and/or developing strategy and value propositions.
• Good analytical skills and comfortable presenting key insights and trends.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, communication - written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a cross regional and global teams using Japanese and English.
• Ability to think long term vision and plan for success.
• Ability to travel, where needed, throughout Japan and Asia Pacific.
・Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
・Relevant work experience leading a HR function either as a generalist or a Talent Management expert.
