Finance Apprentice

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance apprentice to join our team here in Minworth. This person will collaborate with our finance team to learn every aspect of the finance department and assist the team in these areas. This will include assisting with the processing of correct and sensitive financial information, running various analyses, and reporting back on the results and recommendations, all while studying to obtain the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification (AAT).
About The Role
How will you contribute:
- Supporting with input required for Customer Tracker and Billing
- Assist in the timely presentation and submission of internal and external management information reports.
- Liaising with personnel across the organisation and external stakeholders as required.
- Support Finance team in the production of the month end and year end accounts
- Helping assemble weekly flash reports and providing feedback detail on business performance.
- Proactive responsibility for own development through learning, networking, self-appraisal, and other opportunities for growth
- Support the preparation & timely distribution of month-end finance package including collection of details on reporting numbers. Supporting pulling the packs together and any additional verifications requirements.
- Helping to maintain MIR5 reports for Auto plants below required standard.
- Establish own priorities and organise own workload ensuring that activities are completed to required standards and on time.
What will you Bring.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- To have obtained a grade 5 or above in your GCSE’s, including Maths and English
- An interest in finance and the want to progress with a role in this department
- To have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications and IT Literate
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to effectively organise an prioritise your workload
- To be ok with travel other sites
