Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience   
• Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments
• Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
• Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
• Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering across large distributed systems - Networking terminology, Databases, Messaging, Observability, Deployment 
• Domain expertise in specific technology and scripting languages (e.g., Kafka, Cassandra, Python, Grafana, Prometheus etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in public and private clouds (Cloud foundry, Kubernetes, AWS etc.)
• Able to demonstrate a positive track record of with working in a large distributed environment across a range of technologies - Databases – Monitoring - Messages - Telemetry – Runtime Platforms

• AWS/Kubernetes certifications
• Significant programming background in any applicable language
